Deep Tissue Massage (1 Day)

This is a type of massage therapy which applies firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It is used for treating chronic aches, pain and contracted areas such as the upper and lower back, muscle tightness and sore shoulders. Deep tissue massage techniques are used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle 'knots' and adhesions which can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion and inflammation.

Requirements: A previous qualification is required in Swedish Massage including Anatomy and Physiology. All products, equipment and models are provided for you.
