Threading (½ Day)

Threading involves removing hair using cotton thread which is twisted and pulled along the skin surface of the unwanted hair, lifting the hair directly from the root. The hair is caught in the travelling cotton thread and pulled out from the follicle – resulting in a longer lasting method of hair removal with no side-effects.

• History of threading. 3 traditional methods of threading
• Compare and contrast various methods of hair removal
• Body and face threading
• Brow shaping using the threading method
• Theory and practical threading
• Hygiene, health and safety
• Pre-treatments and aftercare procedure
• Contraindications to treatment
• Salon procedure, marketing, costing and timings

Requirements: No previous experience required. All products, equipment and practical models are provided throughout.
